Professional Services
Carolina Kidz Therapy is owned and operated by me (Pamela DiCarlo) M.S. CCC-SLP. I hold a Masters of Science in Speech Language Pathology from California University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor's in Psychology from Ohio University. I retain licensure in North Carolina and am a member of the American Speech and Hearing Association. I work with children and adults of all ages: however, I specialize in children, infants to teenagers.

Cristal Alfaro SLPA
Hi, my name is Cristal Alfaro, and I am a bilingual speech therapist.  I graduated from the University of NorthCarolina at Greensboro in May of 2021 with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Speech Language Pathology and Audiology. I was born in Fayetteville North Carolina, but have moved around and now reside in the Gastonia area. I have always been interested in working with children in the pediatric setting
and have had the opportunity to work alongside skilled Speech Language Pathologists and Occupational Therapists. I look forward to expanding my knowledge as a Speech Therapist

Hi!!! I am April Heath OTR/L. I received my degree in Occupational Therapy at Lenoir Rhyne
University. I have my state and national certification in Occupational Therapy. I have been a
practicing therapist for 17 years. I am also a licensed foster parent for the state of NC for 4
years and currently have my 3rd placement. In my spare time I enjoy shopping, movies and
going to the beach. I enjoy working with parents to develop strategies to help with regulation in
order to decrease meltdowns in order for the child to be successful at home, school and
community.
